For over 60 years Great Lakes Sales Company has
earned an enviable reputation for full‑service sales activity on plumbing,
heating, and well systems product lines. Our marketing strategy emphasizes sales through full line stocking
wholesalers.
Our commitment to sell to stocking wholesalers
is based on a belief that the distributor serves an essential role in our
industry. Future growth of the traditional
plumbing industry is dependent upon the continued growth of the wholesaler.
Wholesale growth is largely dependent upon
promotion to, and training of plumbers, contractors, well system professionals and mechanical engineers. Thus, our practice of full‑service
sales is of greatest importance. Our
experienced sales representatives pursue a variety of channels to stimulate and
support sales. In addition to extensive
field work with wholesaler salesmen, we invest considerable time and effort
promoting our products. For example, we
maintain continuous contact with specifying engineers and make systematic calls
on contractors. We participate in a
variety of trade association activities.
These include booth displays at local, regional and state‑wide meetings
as well as product presentations at monthly APSE, PHCC, OWWA and ASHRAE meetings.
Great Lakes Sales Company is a registered
training agency with several approved continuing education courses approved by
the Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board for contractors in Ohio. This makes our participation in association
meetings that much more valuable.
Currently, Great Lakes Sales Company has three outside salesmen and two office support personnel.
